Hello!

I am a Costume Designer, Educator, and Maker based in Baltimore, MD

I made my first garment when I was 10 by stitching together felt triangles to make a faery skirt. Although it promptly fell apart, I never stopped dreaming of clothes to tell stories.

My professional journey began at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where I learned to sew, pattern, drape, draw, and design. In my sophomore year, we toured Izquierdo Studios, and everything changed. It was the first time I'd been in a costume shop, and I was enthralled. Once I was hired as an intern, I never looked back. Martin Izquierdo showed me that imaginary things are made real in costume shops with skill, grit, patience, practice, and artistry
I worked as a stitcher, first hand, and draper in New York;later travelling to work with regional theaters such as The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Hippodrome State Theatre, The papermill playhouse, and The Weston Playhouse.
In the spring of 2023 I received my M.F.A. in Costume Design from the University of MAryland, College Park. Since then, I have worked as a Costume Designer, associate, and assistant with venues including Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute, Baltimore Center stage, Washington National Opera, The Alley Theatre, Georgetown university, and Olney Theatre Center
